The Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums for small cars and open categories have gone up in the first bidding exercise for May 2011. The details are as follows:
The small cars category (1600cc and below) rose by S$790 to S$44,790.
The COE for the open category increased by S$489 to S$56,490.
But the big cars category (above 1600cc) fell by S$790 to S$56,011.
The COE for motorcycle also dropped by S$249 to S$2,253.
The biggest drop in COE was in the goods vehicles category which fell S$2,011 to S$21,889.
The total quota available for the tender was 1,887 for the various vehicle categories.
