The COE premium for cars above 1,600cc (Category B) ended at $63,000 - a rise of $6,700 (from $56,300), or 11.9 per cent.
For the Open category COEs - which can be used for any vehicle type but which typically end up being used mainly for bigger cars, the premium registered a 9 per cent rise to $62,000 (from $56,889).
Premiums for the popular cars of up to 1,600cc (Category A), rose to $53,390 from $46,989, or by 13.6 per cent.
Motorcycle premiums have also risen, landing at $2,491 from $2,013.
Commercial vehicle COE premiums ended higher at $29,006, from $22,989.
