2. With the new flyover, motorists heading towards the city or Jurong Town Hall Road can expect a smoother drive as they can bypass the traffic junction of West Coast Highway and Clementi Road.
3. Besides the flyover, two sheltered pedestrian overhead bridges with ramps along West Coast Highway near Waseda Shibuya Senior High School and Singapore Bible Baptist Church will also be opened on the same day. The pedestrian overhead bridges and covered linkway to the bus shelters provide connectivity and improve accessibility to West Coast Park area.
4. Please refer to Annex A for the location of the new flyover and the pedestrian overhead bridges.
5. The new flyover and the pedestrian overhead bridges are part of the overall project to upgrade the junction of West Coast Highway and Clementi Road.
6. With the opening of the flyover, LTA will reinstate the adjacent roads and junction below the flyover. The reinstatement will complete by September 2011.
